When a cataract starts to get in the way of daily life, Dr. Liao replaces the clouded lens with a clear one. It starts with a referral from your family doctor or optometrist.

What is a cataract?

A cataract is clouding of the natural lens inside your eye. It usually develops slowly with age. Cataracts are most often found in people over 60.
