Do I need a referral?
For an OHIP covered visit with our ophthalmologist, yes: OHIP rules require a referral from your optometrist or family doctor. Eye exams with our optometrists, the optical and cosmetic eyelid consultations do not need one.
Is my eye exam covered by OHIP?
OHIP covers eye exams for children under 19 and adults 65 and over. Other exams are private pay, and we give you a receipt for your insurance plan.
Do you bill my insurance directly?
For eyewear and contact lenses, yes, with most major insurance companies. Surgery and vision visits are OHIP covered or private pay, without direct billing.
How do I book?
Call or text 416-299-1484. We book optometrist, optician and cosmetic consultation visits by phone or text.
Are cosmetic eyelid procedures covered?
Cosmetic procedures are private pay. Your consultation with Dr. Liao comes with no obligation and no pressure.
Can my child be seen for nearsightedness?
Yes. Our optometrists offer myopia management for children, with lens and contact lens options designed to slow it down.
Which languages do you speak?
We serve patients in English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
Where do I park?
